Refund Policy

This policy explains trial-first evaluation, refund review windows, duplicate payments, technical issue handling, and digital license limitations.

Trial before purchase

Flat2DXF is offered with a trial or evaluation workflow so you can test installer access, SOLIDWORKS compatibility, export behavior, output structure, and licensing before buying.

Digital license sales

Because paid licenses provide digital software access and activation rights, purchases are generally final after license issuance or activation unless applicable law requires otherwise or this policy expressly allows a refund.

When refunds may be approved

  • Duplicate payment, wrong plan purchase, billing error, or failed checkout that still charged you.
  • A technical issue reported within 14 days of purchase that prevents reasonable use of Flat2DXF and cannot be resolved by support.
  • A license that was not issued or cannot be activated because of a Flat2DXF account or payment processing error.

When refunds may be declined

  • The license was activated and the software works substantially as described for the purchased plan.
  • The issue is caused by an unsupported SOLIDWORKS version, unsupported Windows environment, missing user SOLIDWORKS license, machine policy, antivirus block, or third-party configuration outside Flat2DXF control.
  • The request is based on output expectations that were not verified during trial or that require machine-specific CAM, nesting, material, tolerance, or production review.

How to request a refund

Email adam@flat2dxf.com with your account email, payment receipt, plan, purchase date, activation status, SOLIDWORKS version, Windows version, and a short description of the issue. We may ask for logs or screenshots to verify the issue.

Processing

Approved refunds are usually returned to the original payment method through the payment provider. Provider processing times may vary. Refund approval may deactivate the related license and installer access.

Legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer, digital content, or statutory refund rights that apply in your jurisdiction.
