End User License Agreement

This EULA governs installation and use of the Flat2DXF desktop add-in, licensing, activation, output review, and user responsibilities.

Acceptance and license grant

By installing, activating, accessing, or using Flat2DXF, you agree to this EULA, the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any applicable purchase, trial, subscription, or license terms. Subject to your compliance and applicable plan, Flat2DXF grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the desktop add-in solely for internal business, professional, trial, or evaluation purposes.

Requirements

Flat2DXF requires a compatible Windows environment and a valid, properly licensed SOLIDWORKS environment supplied by you. Flat2DXF does not provide, include, resell, or grant any SOLIDWORKS license. You are responsible for your own SOLIDWORKS license, third-party software, operating system, hardware, CAD/CAM, machine, and production environment requirements.

Activation, devices, and trial use

Use may require account sign-in, online activation, offline activation, activation keys, license files, machine identity metadata, and periodic license validation. Device limits, offline days, manual activation rights, installer access, and recovery rights depend on your plan. Trial licenses are for evaluation only and may be refused, limited, suspended, or terminated if trial systems are abused or used outside their intended purpose.

Output review and user responsibility

Flat2DXF helps prepare, export, organize, or package DXF, PDF, image, report, drawing, technical document, and ZIP outputs for review. All outputs must be reviewed, verified, and approved by you before quoting, purchasing material, cutting, bending, machining, welding, finishing, assembly, fabrication, delivery, or production. You are responsible for confirming that outputs are suitable for your machines, operators, tooling, materials, tolerances, customer requirements, and production workflow.

Restrictions

  • Do not copy, share, publish, rent, lease, lend, sell, resell, sublicense, commercially host, or distribute Flat2DXF except as expressly permitted in writing.
  • Do not share activation keys, license files, account credentials, installer files, or license access with unauthorized users.
  • Do not bypass, crack, disable, remove, or interfere with licensing, activation, usage limits, device limits, trial limits, or security features.
  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works except where applicable law expressly permits.
  • Do not use Flat2DXF to develop, train, benchmark, or assist in creating a competing product or service except where applicable law expressly permits.

Ownership and feedback

Flat2DXF is licensed, not sold. The Software, source code, object code, user interface, design, workflow, algorithms, automation logic, documentation, templates, installers, trademarks, branding, license systems, and related intellectual property are owned by Flat2DXF or its licensors. You retain ownership of your own CAD files, drawings, DXF files, PDF files, project files, production documents, and other user-created content. Feedback may be used to improve, support, market, or develop Flat2DXF without payment or obligation to you.

No engineering or manufacturing approval

Flat2DXF is a software tool that assists with preparation of manufacturing-related files. It does not provide engineering approval, design approval, manufacturing approval, toolpath approval, nesting approval, tolerance approval, material approval, machine setup approval, safety approval, regulatory approval, or production approval. Flat2DXF does not guarantee that any output is accurate, complete, error-free, production-ready, manufacturable, compliant, or suitable for any specific use.

No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flat2DXF is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We make no warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, compatibility, accuracy, or suitability for production.

Data, diagnostics, and privacy

Flat2DXF may collect and process license, activation, account, device, diagnostic, crash, version, installer, and usage metadata as described in the Privacy Policy. Flat2DXF does not intentionally upload your SOLIDWORKS part files, DXF files, drawings, PDFs, ZIP packages, or production documents unless you choose to submit them for support, diagnostics, feedback, or another feature that clearly requires file submission.

Updates, support, and compatibility

Updates, support, maintenance, compatibility updates, and installer access are provided according to your plan, purchase offer, subscription, order page, invoice, or written agreement. A lifetime license, if offered, means lifetime use of the licensed version or license entitlement as described in the applicable offer. It does not include lifetime updates, lifetime support, future major versions, new products, cloud services, or guaranteed future compatibility unless expressly stated in writing.

Payment, refunds, and subscription status

Purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds, taxes, invoices, and payment disputes are governed by the Flat2DXF Terms of Service, Refund Policy, and the terms presented at the time of purchase. If payment fails, a subscription expires, a refund is issued, a chargeback occurs, or a license is cancelled, Flat2DXF may suspend, limit, or terminate access to the Software, activation systems, updates, support, and installer downloads.

SOLIDWORKS independence

SOLIDWORKS is a trademark of Dassault Systemes SolidWorks Corporation or its affiliates. Flat2DXF is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, certified by, or an official product of Dassault Systemes or SOLIDWORKS.

Export control and legal compliance

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, export control rules, sanctions, trade restrictions, intellectual property laws, data protection laws, and industry-specific regulations that apply to your use of Flat2DXF and its outputs. You may not use, export, re-export, or provide Flat2DXF in violation of applicable laws or restrictions.

Limitation of liability and indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flat2DXF and its owners, operators, developers, affiliates, suppliers, licensors, service providers, and representatives are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including production losses, scrap material, incorrect manufacturing output, machine downtime, tooling damage, rework costs, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, customer claims, delay damages, or manufacturing defects. Where liability cannot be excluded, total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for Flat2DXF during the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Flat2DXF harmless from claims arising from your use or misuse of Flat2DXF, production decisions, failure to review outputs, violation of this EULA, violation of law, or use of outputs in customer projects or production environments.

Termination

This EULA remains in effect until terminated. Your license may terminate automatically if your trial expires, your subscription expires or is cancelled, payment fails, a refund or chargeback is issued, you violate this EULA or applicable license terms, you bypass activation, misuse trial access, exceed device limits, or use Flat2DXF unlawfully. Upon termination, you must stop using Flat2DXF, uninstall or deactivate the Software where applicable, and stop using related activation keys, license files, installers, or account access.
