Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Flat2DXF collects for accounts, licensing, activation, downloads, payments, support, analytics, and locally processed CAD/CAM files.

Local CAD processing

Flat2DXF is designed so SOLIDWORKS part files, assembly files, drawing files, DXF outputs, PDF outputs, images, and ZIP production packages are processed on your computer by default. We do not upload your CAD files, technical drawings, or generated production files to Flat2DXF servers unless you explicitly send files to us for support.

Account and license data

When you create an account, request a trial, purchase a license, activate a device, download an installer, or contact support, we may collect email address, name, company, country, authentication identifiers, license plan, activation code status, device activation metadata, machine identity suffix or hardware fingerprint data used for licensing, installer download records, support notes, timestamps, and security events.

Payment data

Payment details are processed by the payment provider, such as Stripe. Flat2DXF receives checkout status, plan, amount, currency, customer email, invoice or receipt references, selected payment method metadata, and fraud or payment status metadata needed to complete licensing and support.

Technical and security data

We may process IP address, browser and device information, log records, error reports, rate-limit events, cookie choices, and analytics events for security, fraud prevention, service reliability, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and product improvement.

Support files

If you choose to send CAD files, screenshots, logs, DXF files, PDFs, ZIP packages, or project details for support, we use them only to troubleshoot your request, improve support quality, and communicate with you. You may ask us to delete support files when the case is closed unless retention is required for legal, security, or billing reasons.

Service providers

We may use providers for hosting, authentication, database, email delivery, analytics with consent, payment processing, security monitoring, and support operations. Providers are used only as needed to run Flat2DXF and related services.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies are used for sign-in, security, locale, and privacy choices. Analytics runs only when enabled through the site's consent controls or where legally permitted.

Retention

We retain account, license, payment, security, and support records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements. Local CAD files that you do not send to support are not retained by Flat2DXF servers.

Your rights

Depending on your location, including Turkey, the EEA, the UK, and certain US states, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export personal data. You may also opt out of certain analytics or marketing. Contact adam@flat2dxf.com to make a request.

Children

Flat2DXF is not intended for children and is not knowingly offered to users under 13.
